Hi everyone, I'm Sam "QGrows" Houston and I founded CannaBuzz alongside my cofounder, JR Tokin. Two years ago we teamed up because we were tired of seeing our favorite cannabis content creators and friends get their content and accounts taken down. Whether you're on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter or TikTok - the cannabis community is constantly reminded that their content is not welcome.
Over the last two years, we've been able to create a safe space online for people to express themselves and connect with others over their shared interests, we've helped people learn how to grow their own medicine, we've seen new friendships and business partnerships formed, we've heard your heartwarming and powerful cannabis stories, and so much more. We couldn't have done any of this without you, the CannaBuzz Community.
We've now grown to over 115,000 members, with CannaBuzz Fam members all over the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Mexico, and beyond. And as cannabis decriminalization and legalization spreads across the World, we think CannaBuzz has potential to grow even more.
But we need your help. Advertising and Sponsorships do not cover our costs and we've been running CannaBuzz at a loss since launch.
CannaBuzz is 100% community driven and focused on that mission; We're always going to make sure that we're serving the community well. We always want to make sure we're focusing on building up our community, rather than investing in advertising & tracking technology and having to hire sales people to sell ads.
Today we're launching a paid membership system that will allow us to become a sustainable business that is community supported. CannaBuzz Premium memberships will empower us to invest more into CannaBuzz - spending more time moderating the community & handling support tickets, more time creating content that informs our audience and provides a space for people to connect with others. We will be doing more live shows, more community hangout seshes, more podcasts, and eventually even some livestreams remote from festivals or conferences across the country.
